NCFFL Power Rankings - Thanksgiving Edition

Happy Thanksgiving, boys!  I know, I know.  It's been a while.  Years, in fact.  But as a special Thanksgiving treat, I decided to give you guys a special edition of the NCFFL Power Rankings!  I, for one, am thankful that there are so many mediocre teams in the league, so I actually have a shot a making the playoffs.  Well I'm not going to beat around the bush here, let's jump into the rankings.

But first, an important announcement from none other than Donald Trump!

Hello losers.  It's me, President Trump, and I was so excited when Rizzo asked me back for a special edition of the NCFFL Power Rankings.  These rankings are going to be the biggest, most beautiful rankings you've ever seen.  Believe me.  They're going to be so beautiful.... you've never seen them like this before.  I've been away for a few years, and I could have come back if I wanted to, but that's ok.  I'm here now and it's going to be so great.

Before I give you your rankings, I have something very important to talk about, and that's the league dues.  Can you guys believe that 6 of you still have not paid your dues?  That's not too good.  Not too good.  We're still waiting for the following owners:

  • Alex
  • Mike White
  • Bob
  • Anthony
  • Sean Coyle
  • Brian
Not good.  We all know that I always pay my bills, and you guys need to pay up or we're gonna have big, big problems, ok?  Ok well enough about that, here are your big, beautiful rankings:

1.  Bizmark Bench Blunders (record = 9-2):  The Bench Blunders are the highest-scoring and most consistent team in the NCFFL.  They've only scored under 120 points twice this year, and that was during a 2-week stretch when their best players were all on byes.  The defending champs are a good bet to repeat.

2.  North Greece Outlaws (record = 6-5):  The Outlaws are perennial contenders, and this year is no different.  They're 2nd in PPG and their remaining schedule is possibly the easiest in the NCFFL.  They'll face the sinking AssEaters twice, and 3 teams with losing records.

3.  Greece Spreadeagles (record = 5-6):  After losing 3 straight games, the Spreadeagles have dropped to 6th in the standings.  They armed with a top-3 QB, a top-2 TE, and two top-4 RBs though, so they're absolutely still contenders.

4.  Clifton Reno Ragers (record = 5-6):  The Ragers started the year strong, but they're only averaging 114 PPG over their last 5.  This team is very deep at WR and have an elite QB, but their RB situation isn't ideal.  We all know they'll bounce back this week against the 'Nators, and they have a decent schedule the rest of the way.

5.  North Penfield Impregnators (record = 5-6):  Don't look now, but after starting 0-4 the Nators are suddenly the hottest team in the NCFFL, winning 3 straight and averaging 145 PPG over their last 4.  They still have an uphill battle to make the playoffs though.

6.  AssEater (record = 7-4):  After starting out red-hot, the AssEaters have lost 3 of their last 5, and the wheels seem to be coming off.  Studs Keenan Allen, Ja'Marr Chase, and who could forget Corey Davis have been with injuries.  To make matters worse, Cooper Kupp will be out for the year.

7.  East Ave Savages (record = 6-5):  The team is all over the place.  The Savages have 4 games over 150 points, but 4 games of 100 points or less.  This helps explain why they're in 3rd place in the standings, but they're 8th in PPG.  They have a brutal schedule down the stretch, facing the 1st place Bench Blunders twice over the final 3 weeks.

8.  Genny Screamers (record = 4-7):  These guys currently have Melvin Gordon in their starting lineup, so that's probably not a great sign.  I'm not sure why this team is only 4-7.  Probably because they're #1 in Points Against.  They've had some monster weeks against them this year.  On the plus side, Lamar has been good, Kelce is always great, and they have Nick Chubb and some decent WRs.

9.  Tittsburgh Feelers (record = 4-7):  This team is so streaky.  They recently had a 4-week stretch where they scored over 165 in back to back weeks, followed by back to back games around 100 points.  Can they get it together and finish the year strong?  I'm not so sure.  They're very deep at QB, but not really all that impressive anywhere else.  Mixon and Kamara would be a great duo if they were both health and consistent, but that hasn't been the case lately.

10.  The Juggernaut (record = 4-7):  Not much has gone right for the Juggernauts this year.  They're last in the standings and the lowest-scoring team by almost 200 points.

Well that's it for this week (probably this year lol).  Happy Thanksgiving, fellas!
